The DELF B1 course is for intermediate learners. It focuses on understanding and producing more complex French, including handling conversations about a variety of subjects, expressing opinions, and understanding more detailed texts.

Module 1: Introduction to DELF B1

  • Learn vocabulary related to politics, social issues, and health
  • Expand your knowledge of advanced adjectives and verbs
  • Study the language of travel, work, and daily life
  • Understand French expressions for emotions and feelings
  • Learn vocabulary to discuss past, present, and future events
  • Focus on improving comprehension of detailed descriptions
  • Learn to use synonyms to diversify your vocabulary

Module 2: Expanding Vocabulary and Grammar

  • Learn to form more complex sentences with conjunctions
  • Use subjunctive mood and conditional sentences
  • Understand the different tenses (future, past, and present)
  • Learn to express hypotheses and uncertainty in French
  • Master the structure of relative clauses and pronouns
  • Use phrases for expressing cause, effect, and purpose
  • Focus on fluency and grammar accuracy

Module 3: Handling Complex Conversations

  • Understand longer spoken French texts (interviews, news)
  • Identify main points in conversations about various topics
  • Listen to more complex audio materials and analyze them
  • Learn to follow conversations involving several people
  • Practice listening to French media (radio, podcasts)
  • Increase your ability to distinguish between nuances in speech
  • Develop listening skills for understanding context and details

Module 4: Listening to Detailed French

  • Engage in conversations about daily and social topics
  • Express opinions, desires, and regrets in conversations
  • Participate in discussions on contemporary issues
  • Use specific phrases to express agreement, disagreement, and support

Module 5: Fluent Speaking Practice

  • Write descriptive and argumentative essays

Module 6: Reading and Writing at an Intermediate Level
